Hi there! I was looking at pictures on google for some PRIM decorating inspiration, when I came across a tutorial blog. I started looking through pages and pages of blogs about prim decor and crafts and I was blown away about how wonderful the pictures and things were. So I was inspired to start a blog of my very own!!
So a little bit about me! I am 32 years old and have been married to my best friend for 10 years! We have to wonderful boys, Logan is 11 and Dallas is 9. They keep us very busy!! I have 2 dogs, Jack is 13 and is a cocker spaniel/jack russel terrier mix and Bones is 2 and he is full blooded German Sheperd. I am the pink in my house of blue!!
I fell in love with the primitive style of decorating about a year ago. I was visiting a local church christmas craft show with my mom and was introduced to this way of decorating. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!! My husband has a huge garage filled with woodworking tools that we have purchased over the years for various remodeling projects so i got inspired to try and build some of the things that I wanted for our home! I wanted a bench for my porch so our first project was a wooden bench to set flowers and other decorations on. We struggle with it for an entire day but it finally came together!! I love it! And as soon as I figure out how to put pictures on here I will post some!! Ok so back to my story....I showed a few of my friends and co-workers the pictures of my bench and the way I had decorated my porch and they loved it! The next thing I knew we building my benches left and right!! I could not believe how much we enjoyed doing it! People started asking me if I could build other things for them...so going on a brief description and a prayer we set out to fullfill all of there wooden wishes :)
I love looking around my home and seeing all of the things that my husband and I have built together! There are wonderful memories all over!!
So I will wrap this up for my first blog and try to figure out all of the things I can do on this page!!
